Fantagio, the agency representing actor Kim Seon Ho, has released an official statement addressing recent allegations related to tax evasion, firmly denying the claims.
The issue arose after a media report suggested that Kim Seon Ho was operating a family-run production company, alleging that he served as the company’s CEO while his parents held internal director and auditor positions. The report further speculated that such a structure could be linked to potential tax evasion, prompting public scrutiny.

In response, Fantagio clarified that Kim Seon Ho is currently conducting all professional activities under an exclusive contract with the agency in his personal capacity. According to the statement, all contractual matters, income reporting, and tax obligations are being handled in full compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The agency emphasized that there are no irregularities whatsoever in its contractual or business relationship with the actor.
Regarding the one-person corporation mentioned in the report, Fantagio explained that the company was originally established solely for theater production and related artistic activities, with no intention of tax avoidance or evasion. Following Kim Seon Ho’s transfer to Fantagio, the corporation ceased actual business operations approximately one year ago and is now in the process of being formally dissolved in accordance with legal procedures.
Fantagio concluded by stating that it will continue to adhere strictly to all applicable laws and regulations, while making every effort to prevent unnecessary misunderstandings and ensure that the actor’s career can proceed without disruption.
