Actor Lee Dong Wook is reportedly considering a lead role in the upcoming romance drama Love Affair. On February 3, media outlets reported that the actor had received a casting offer for the project.

In response, Lee Dong Wook’s agency KINGKONG by STARSHIP confirmed, “It is true that he has received an offer for Love Affair, and he is currently reviewing it positively. A final decision will be made after various details are discussed.”
Love Affair is a new project helmed by director Mo Wan Il, best known for the hit JTBC drama The World of the Married. According to reports, Lee Dong Wook has been offered the role of Kim Ji Hoon, a man who appears to have a stable career and a happy marriage, but whose life begins to unravel after being swept into a fatal love affair.
The production team is also reportedly casting the female lead Gong Hu Gyeong, a dangerously alluring architect who becomes romantically involved with Kim Ji Hoon, along with other key roles including Kim Ji Hoon’s wife Lee Seon Hee and Gong Hu Gyeong’s boyfriend Lee Dae Hee.
