KBS2’s upcoming daily drama Pearl in Red has unveiled a striking new poster highlighting intense character dynamics.
Pearl in Red is a revenge drama about two women who return under false identities to expose the buried sins and hidden truths of the powerful Adele Group family.
The seven-character poster presents a tense standoff, with all characters dressed in black and cautiously eyeing one another. Their gazes and body language suggest conflicting interests and secrets, setting the tone for a drama driven by desire and distrust.
Park Jin Hee stars as Kim Dan Hee, who lives under her sister Kim Myung Hee’s identity while preparing for revenge, her steady gaze reflecting unwavering determination. Nam Sang Ji plays Baek Jin Joo, who reappears as Chloe Lee to avenge her family, her composed yet secretive expression hinting at a chilling inner world. The tagline, “The revenge chronicle of two women uncovering bloody truths,” foreshadows their dangerous alliance.
At the center stands Park Tae Ho (Choi Jae Sung), chairman of the Adele Group, radiating authority and control. His wife Oh Jung Ran (Kim Hee Jung) adds an air of desire and instability, amplifying the underlying tension.
Park Min Joon (Kim Kyung Bo), caught in the succession battle, brings emotional strain through his complicated gaze toward Baek Jin Joo, while fellow heir Park Hyun Joon (Kang Da Bin) raises curiosity with his unreadable expression. Choi Yoo Na (Chun Hee Joo) leaves a strong impression as a figure driven by jealousy and ambition.
The production team commented that the poster visually captures the conflict that arises when individuals with different desires and secrets are forced into the same space.
Pearl in Red is scheduled to premiere on February 23 at 7:50 p.m. KST.
