tvN’s Wednesday-Thursday drama Our Universe has released new stills from its upcoming second episode, drawing attention to the growing chaos surrounding its characters.
Our Universe is a romance drama that follows two in-laws who, despite deep misunderstandings about one another, unexpectedly end up living together to raise their young nephew Woo Joo. Through this arrangement, they gradually experience personal growth and emotional change.
In episode 1, viewers saw Sun Tae Hyung (Bae In Hyuk) and Woo Hyun Jin (Roh Jeong Eui) cross paths in a chaotic first meeting after becoming entangled as in-laws. A sudden accident then leaves them responsible for caring for their 20-month-old nephew Woo Joo.
The newly released stills show Sun Tae Hyung taking on the role of Woo Joo’s one-day caretaker. In a brief moment of inattention, Woo Joo spills an unidentified sauce all over himself, turning the house upside down. Overwhelmed by the situation, Sun Tae Hyung is seen pulling at his hair in visible distress.
Another set of images captures Woo Hyun Jin, dressed in a sharp suit, standing in the middle of a company building lobby thrown into confusion. There, she discovers Woo Joo—now filthy and disheveled—surrounded by people, wearing an utterly innocent expression.
Adding to the tension, Sun Tae Hyung watches the scene from a short distance away, leaving viewers curious about what will happen next.
The production team commented that in episode 2, airing on February 5, Woo Hyun Jin—who has resolved to raise Woo Joo on her own—will face unavoidable circumstances that lead her to seek out Sun Tae Hyung once again. They added that Sun Tae Hyung, who is about to move into a new place, will also encounter an unexpected incident, bringing their relationship to an intriguing turning point.
Episode 2 of Our Universe airs on February 5 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
