Actress Kim Hye Yoon is reportedly considering the female lead role in the Korean drama adaptation of the Japanese bestselling novel The Miracles of the Namiya General Store. On February 10, media outlets reported that she had received an offer to star in the project. Her agency later confirmed that the drama is one of the projects currently under review.

Based on the well-known novel by Japanese author Keigo Higashino, The Miracles of the Namiya General Store tells the story of three thieves who hide in an old general store that mysteriously connects the past and the present. As they respond to letters seeking advice, they uncover hidden connections that intertwine with their own lives.
It has previously been reported that Lee Chae Min is in talks for the male lead role, while Moon Sang Min is also considering a special appearance. The Korean adaptation is expected to consist of approximately 10 episodes and is currently in the pre-production stage.
Kim Hye Yoon remains active with multiple projects, currently appearing in the drama No Tail to Tell and preparing for upcoming film and television releases, further solidifying her presence in the industry.
