tvN’s romantic comedy Our Universe is steadily building momentum, marking a new milestone in its broadcast run.

On February 12, the drama achieved its highest Thursday ratings yet with the airing of its fourth episode. According to data released by Nielsen Korea, the episode recorded an average nationwide rating of 1.5 percent — a modest but meaningful rise that signals growing viewer engagement.

Starring Bae In-hyuk, Roh Jeong-eui, and Park Seo-ham, the series tells the story of two in-laws bound not by affection but by circumstance. Burdened by long-held misunderstandings, they unexpectedly find themselves raising their young nephew Woo Joo together. What begins as reluctant cohabitation gradually transforms into a journey of healing, growth, and emotional vulnerability.

The fourth episode, in particular, resonated with audiences as the emotional walls between the leads began to crack. Subtle glances, hesitant conversations, and shared responsibilities created a palpable shift in their dynamic. Rather than relying solely on comedic charm, the drama leans into quiet emotional beats — moments of tenderness that feel earned rather than forced.

While 1.5 percent may not appear explosive in numbers, the steady upward trajectory suggests that word-of-mouth and audience attachment are strengthening. In a competitive television landscape, incremental growth often reflects something more valuable than instant buzz: sustained connection.

As the story continues to explore themes of family, forgiveness, and unexpected love, “Our Universe” appears to be finding its rhythm — not through spectacle, but through sincerity.
