Upcoming thriller drama “Mad Concrete Dreams” has unveiled its first character stills of Shim Eun Kyung.

The drama follows a struggling landlord who becomes entangled in crime while trying to protect his family and property. Although he attains the coveted status of a building owner, mounting debts push him into participating in a staged kidnapping. What begins as a calculated scheme soon spirals dangerously out of control when the fake kidnapping turns real.
Shim Eun Kyung plays Yo Na, a mysterious operative at Real Capital. Cold and ruthless, Yo Na avoids forming deep personal connections and operates with calculated precision.
Real Capital leads the redevelopment project in the area where Ki Soo Jong’s (Ha Jung Woo) building stands. While the company appears legitimate on the surface, it will go to any lengths to complete its objectives. Yo Na arrives in South Korea to resolve complications surrounding the redevelopment, but her encounter with Ki Soo Jong becomes an unexpected variable that intensifies the conflict.

In the newly released stills, Shim Eun Kyung commands attention in a sleek black suit, exuding an icy and unsettling presence. Her expressionless face and piercing gaze alone heighten the tension, raising anticipation for the pivotal role Yo Na will play in driving the story forward.
The production team commented, “Shim Eun Kyung brought Yo Na to life through meticulous character analysis. Please look forward to her performance, which will further amplify the suspense of ‘Mad Concrete Dreams.’”
“Mad Concrete Dreams” is set to premiere on March 14 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
