The web drama 《剑兰女探社》- Sword Orchid Detective Agency is officially set to premiere on February 26. Set in Republican-era Shanghai, the series blends mystery, suspense, and strong female narratives into a compelling investigative story.
Starring Wang Haoxuan, Chen Siyu, Lin Fan, Wang Yani, Zheng Nanxi, Zhang Ying, Lu Dongxu and Cui Xuyu, the drama brings together a youthful cast to portray a team unlike any other.
The story revolves around five extraordinary women: a spirit-sensitive diviner with a remarkable sense of smell, a straightforward policewoman, a double-faced forensic doctor, an independent journalist seeking truth, and a chivalrous businesswoman. Together with the so-called “First Young Master of Shencheng,” they solve a series of eerie and complex cases.
