MBC’s upcoming Friday–Saturday drama “In Your Radiant Season” has released a new set of behind-the-scenes photos, offering a glimpse into the cast’s passionate performances and the bright, heartwarming atmosphere on set ahead of its premiere.
The drama tells the story of Sunwoo Chan (Chae Jong Hyeop), a man who lives each day as though it were a vibrant summer vacation, and Song Ha Ran (Lee Sung Kyung), a woman who has emotionally shut herself away as if trapped in a long, cold winter. Their contrasting outlooks on life set the stage for a healing romance filled with warmth and growth.
With just four days remaining until the premiere, the newly revealed stills capture the lively energy shared by Lee Sung Kyung and Chae Jong Hyeop, as well as veteran actors Lee Mi Sook and Kang Suk Woo. Han Ji Hyeon and Oh Ye Ju also appear in the photos, showcasing the dynamic three-sister chemistry they share with Lee Sung Kyung and adding youthful vitality to the set.
Lee Sung Kyung, fully immersed in her role as Nana Atelier’s chief designer Song Ha Ran, brightens the atmosphere even when the cameras stop rolling. Her expressive performance and cheerful presence reflect her dedication to the character. Chae Jong Hyeop likewise contributes to the warm mood on set, holding onto his script and staying focused until the moment filming begins, demonstrating his commitment to bringing Sunwoo Chan to life.
A particularly charming detail is the affectionate way the two leads care for the drama’s mascot, a dog named Cheonjae, highlighting the comfortable camaraderie among the cast.
Meanwhile, Lee Mi Sook, who plays Kim Nana, and Kang Suk Woo, who transforms into Park Man Jae, a barista at Café “Rest,” exude quiet authority and depth. Off-camera, they create a relaxed and welcoming environment with gentle smiles, but once filming starts, they deliver nuanced emotional performances that portray the complexity of mature romance.
