MBC’s upcoming drama “In Your Radiant Season” has introduced the central figures of Nana Atelier, Korea’s premier fashion powerhouse. Set within the high-stakes world of couture, the series explores generational clashes, artistic ambition, and personal growth against the backdrop of a globally renowned brand.
At the center stands Kim Nana, portrayed by Lee Mi Sook, a legendary designer often referred to as “Queen Nana.” With her signature blonde hair, tailored black suits, oversized sunglasses, and black coffee in hand, she embodies authority and precision. Known for her uncompromising standards—allowing not even a 0.1-inch margin of error—she has shaped Nana Atelier into an institution where her philosophy is regarded as the ultimate rule.
Lee Sung Kyung plays Song Ha Ran, the chief designer who oversees every stage of production, from conceptual planning to runway execution. Her restrained silhouettes and monochrome style mirror her pragmatic, no-nonsense leadership. Raised under Kim Nana’s relentless pursuit of perfection, Ha Ran shares a layered relationship with her grandmother—one defined by hierarchy, expectation, and an unspoken determination to protect one another through strength.
Han Ji Hyeon appears as Song Ha Young, Ha Ran’s younger sister and a junior designer in Design Team 1. A natural prodigy with bold artistic instincts, she energizes the team with her candid personality. Her evolving relationship with COO Yeon Tae Seok (Kwon Hyuk) adds emotional depth, as playful teasing gradually gives way to genuine feelings after he quietly supports her through professional setbacks.
Yeon Tae Seok serves as the company’s operational backbone and Kim Nana’s most trusted lieutenant. Having risen from part-time assistant to driver, secretary, and ultimately COO, he understands Nana Atelier’s ethos more deeply than anyone. Though he appears cold and system-driven, his loyalty to the brand remains steadfast.
Within Design Team 1, senior designer Jeremy (Jang Yong Won) stands out for his bold use of vivid colors and daring styling, often clashing with Ha Ran’s minimalist approach. Junior designer Baek Seung Gyu (Ki Hyun Woo), disciplined and trend-conscious, balances the team with quiet sincerity beneath his easygoing demeanor.
