JTBC’s upcoming drama “The Practical Guide to Love” has released new stills featuring Jung Hye Sung and Ju Yeon Woo in character, offering a closer look at their roles within the story.
“The Practical Guide to Love” follows Lee Ui Yeong (Han Ji Min), who decides to actively pursue romance by entering the world of blind dates. As she encounters two men with distinctly different charms, she finds herself caught between contrasting emotions, setting off a journey to discover the true meaning of love.

In the drama, Jung Hye Sung plays Jung Hyun Min, while Ju Yeon Woo takes on the role of Im Seung Jun. Alongside Lee Ui Yeong’s blind-date storyline with Song Tae Seop (Park Sung Hoon) and Shin Ji Su (Lee Ki Taek), the series also highlights the evolving dynamic between Jung Hyun Min and Im Seung Jun, introducing an additional emotional thread to the narrative.
Jung Hyun Min works in the purchasing team at The Hills Hotel and is a close junior colleague of Lee Ui Yeong. With her open-minded outlook, straightforward personality, and strong adaptability, she demonstrates a level of maturity that exceeds expectations. In matters of romance, she maintains a composed perspective, valuing personal freedom and pace over intensity or commitment.
In contrast, Im Seung Jun is a personal trainer and Lee Ui Yeong’s childhood friend. The two have always shared a firmly platonic relationship, never viewing each other through a romantic lens. Despite his tall build and broad-shouldered, somewhat intimidating appearance, Seung Jun has a gentle and cautious personality. He prefers structure and careful planning over impulsive decisions.
“The Practical Guide to Love” is set to premiere on February 28 at 10:40 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
