After a decade under Jellyfish Entertainment, Kim Se Jeong is reportedly considering a new chapter in her career.
On February 20, JTBC reported that Kim Se Jeong recently began discussions regarding the renewal of her contract with Jellyfish Entertainment ahead of its expiration. However, she is also said to have been meeting with other agencies and carefully reviewing multiple options for her future.

In response, Jellyfish Entertainment stated, “We are currently in the midst of contract renewal discussions, but nothing has yet been finalized.” The agency added that it will continue to carry out management duties for the artist until the end of her existing contract period.
Kim Se Jeong first gained public attention in 2016 as a trainee under Jellyfish Entertainment on Mnet’s audition program “Produce 101.” She debuted the same year as a member of the project group I.O.I, later re-debuting in the girl group gugudan before pursuing a solo career. In recent years, she has increasingly focused on acting alongside her music activities.
With her contract period nearing its end, industry observers and fans alike are watching closely to see what direction her next move will take.
