Amaru of KickFlip will not participate in the group’s upcoming fourth mini album promotions as he focuses on treatment and rest for his recovery. On March 2, JYP Entertainment officially announced that Amaru will sit out the promotional activities for KickFlip’s new release, scheduled for April 6 at 6 p.m. KST, in order to prioritize his health. The agency expressed sincere gratitude to fans who continue to support KickFlip, while clarifying that the decision was made after discussions between Amaru and the other members. As a result, the fourth mini album promotions will proceed with six members: Kyehoon, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju, and Donghyeon. The company apologized for any concern caused to fans who had been anticipating KickFlip’s comeback and emphasized that the artist’s health and recovery remain the top priority.

Following the announcement, Amaru personally shared a handwritten letter addressed to WeFlip, the fandom of KickFlip. In his message, Amaru reassured fans that he has been spending his days calmly while thinking about them. He expressed deep gratitude for the love and support he continues to receive, noting that it gives him strength beyond what he can fully put into words. Amaru encouraged fans not to worry excessively and wished for everyone to remain healthy until the day they can reunite with smiles. He concluded by thanking WeFlip and conveying his affection. Notably, Amaru has been on a temporary hiatus since September 2025 after experiencing symptoms of psychological anxiety and receiving medical advice to prioritize rest and treatment. With this update, KickFlip will continue its upcoming activities as six members while Amaru focuses on his recovery.
