Singer BoA has announced a new chapter in her career with the establishment of her own agency, BApal Entertainment. On March 3, BoA shared the news through social media by tagging the company’s official account, confirming that she has launched a one-person agency following the conclusion of her 25-year partnership with SM Entertainment at the end of last year.

The name BApal combines “BoA” and “pal,” symbolizing a company built together by BoA and her companions—namely, her fans. The agency explained that the name reflects the intention to create a structure in which the artist and her supporters can connect more closely, emphasizing communication and shared growth as key values moving forward.
BApal Entertainment stated that it respects BoA’s deep musical vision and aims to provide an environment where she can pursue her artistic goals in a flexible and natural manner. The company further noted that the memories and experiences accumulated throughout her long career are the most valuable assets that have shaped the artist she is today. Building upon this foundation, BoA plans to further solidify and expand her musical direction in the years ahead.

Alongside the announcement, the agency released new profile photos showcasing BoA’s refined and confident image, signaling a fresh start under her independent management.
Debuting at the age of 13 under SM Entertainment in 2000, BoA went on to achieve widespread acclaim with numerous hit songs, including “My Name” and “No. 1.” She also rose to prominence in Japan, earning the title “Star of Asia” for her cross-border success and influence. With the launch of BApal Entertainment, BoA now embarks on a new phase of her career, marking a significant milestone in her enduring journey in the music industry.
