The historical romance drama “Pursuit of Jade” (逐玉), starring Zhang Linghe and Tian Xiwei, has officially announced its premiere date of March 6. Adapted from the novel of the same name by Tuanzi Laixi—originally titled Hou Fu Ren Yu Sha Zhu Dao—the series tells the story of a contract marriage that gradually transforms into genuine love against the backdrop of political turmoil. Even prior to broadcast, the drama has drawn significant attention, with combined reservations across two major streaming platforms surpassing seven million.
At the center of Pursuit of Jade (逐玉) is the fateful meeting between butcher’s daughter Fan Changyu (Tian Xiwei) and the injured nobleman Xie Zheng (Zhang Linghe), whom she rescues on a snowy night.
