A newly unveiled poster for Climax has intensified anticipation for ENA’s upcoming drama, spotlighting a tense power struggle led by Ju Ji Hoon, Ha Ji Won, Cha Joo Young, and an ensemble cast. The drama centers on prosecutor Bang Tae Seob, portrayed by Ju Ji Hoon, who plunges into a ruthless power-driven cartel in a bid to ascend South Korea’s political hierarchy. With ambition and survival at its core, Climax promises a fierce confrontation between individuals determined to dominate a world where influence is everything.

The poster presents the five central characters in separate frames, yet visually unites them on what appears to be one shared and volatile stage. Each character delivers a striking declaration that captures their personal resolve and the ideological clash that defines the series. Bang Tae Seob exudes unwavering confidence as he states, “It’s a war that’s already started, and I hold the key,” signaling his readiness to command the unfolding battle. Through Bang Tae Seob, Ju Ji Hoon embodies a prosecutor willing to risk everything to climb the ladder of power in Climax.

Opposite him stands Chu Sang Ah, played by Ha Ji Won, whose fierce determination is conveyed in the line, “I’d rather shatter than wither.” Her words suggest a character prepared to face destruction rather than surrender. Hwang Jung Won, portrayed by Nana, offers a more cynical perspective with the pointed remark, “What’s wrong with living dirty in a dirty world?” Meanwhile, Kwon Jong Wook, played by Oh Jung Se, heightens the tension with a provocative promise: “I’m planning to pour more fuel on your news.” Lee Yang Mi, brought to life by Cha Joo Young, firmly asserts, “I absolutely can’t stand being pushed around by anyone,” underscoring her refusal to submit within the brutal hierarchy.

These intersecting statements hint at fractures within an intricate power cartel that spans both political and entertainment spheres. As alliances shift and rivalries sharpen, the five characters are locked in a relentless struggle for dominance, manipulating and challenging one another in pursuit of supremacy. The explosive confrontations teased in the poster suggest that Climax will explore the cost of ambition in a system defined by control and survival.

Set to premiere on March 16 at 10 p.m. KST, Climax positions Ju Ji Hoon at the forefront of a high-stakes drama where ambition collides with morality. With its ensemble cast and charged narrative, Climax is poised to deliver an intense portrayal of power at its most unforgiving peak.
