The tvN drama Undercover Miss Hong has officially come to an end, wrapping up its run with strong ratings and widespread viewer attention.

Set in the late 1990s, Undercover Miss Hong tells the story of Hong Geum Bo, played by Park Shin Hye, an elite financial supervisory officer in her 30s who goes undercover as a young entry-level employee at a securities firm. Her secret mission is to investigate suspicious financial transactions within the company, leading to a mix of comedic situations and workplace intrigue.

On March 8, Undercover Miss Hong aired its final episode and concluded its broadcast run while topping the rankings for the most buzzworthy dramas at the time. Following the finale, the main cast shared their thoughts and reflections on the project.

Park Shin Hye, who led the drama with her lively portrayal of Hong Geum Bo, expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the production. She said that memories of filming with fellow actors and the staff kept coming to mind as the drama concluded. The actress shared that she was happy the series—filled with both laughter and emotional moments—was able to finish while receiving so much love from viewers, adding her sincere thanks to the audience for their support.

Actor Ko Kyung Pyo, who portrayed Shin Jung Woo in Undercover Miss Hong, also reflected on his experience. He mentioned that one particular line his character said to Hong Geum Bo—“Why are you holding onto burdens you can’t even take responsibility for?”—left a deep impression on him. According to Ko Kyung Pyo, the line allowed him to reflect on himself personally. He added that the warm response from viewers gave him a strong sense of accomplishment, and he hopes audiences enjoyed the time spent watching Undercover Miss Hong. For him, filming the drama felt like sharing a meaningful period of life with fellow actors and staff.

Actress Ha Yun Kyung, who played Go Bok Hee in Undercover Miss Hong, shared that the project helped her rediscover the joy of acting. She pointed to scenes following Mi Sook’s hospitalization as particularly memorable, explaining that she worked hard to portray complex emotions such as sadness, guilt, and resentment. Ha Yun Kyung said she wanted the character and story to bring smiles while still carrying emotional depth, expressing hope that the drama warmed viewers’ hearts.

Meanwhile, Cho Han Gyul, who portrayed the third-generation chaebol Albert Oh in Undercover Miss Hong, said he greatly enjoyed working with the cast and crew. He admitted feeling a bit sad that the drama had already reached its conclusion, as the filming period passed quickly. Among many memorable scenes, he highlighted the line “Goodbye, Hong Jang Mi,” spoken while letting go of an unrequited love, as the most emotional moment for him. Cho Han Gyul also thanked viewers for supporting both the drama and his character throughout its broadcast.

With its combination of comedy, mystery, and character-driven storytelling, Undercover Miss Hong leaves behind a memorable run for both the cast and viewers who followed the drama until its finale.
