New preview images from the Korean romance drama In Your Radiant Season have offered a glimpse of the emotional tension awaiting viewers in the upcoming episode. The series, starring Lee Sung Kyung and Chae Jong Hyeop, continues to explore the evolving relationship between two people whose contrasting outlooks on life gradually draw them closer together.

In Your Radiant Season tells the story of Sunwoo Chan, portrayed by Chae Jong Hyeop, a man who approaches life with the carefree spirit of an endless summer vacation. Opposite him is Song Ha Ran, played by Lee Sung Kyung, a woman who has emotionally withdrawn from the world, living as if trapped in a long and unchanging winter. Through their encounters, the drama gradually reveals how their different perspectives begin to influence one another.

In earlier episodes, Song Ha Ran promised Sunwoo Chan that they would share a pizza date once he returned from a business trip to Gyeongju. During the ten days they spent apart, the two remained in contact by sharing their daily lives, and Ha Ran slowly began to change as she attempted to complete the “how to live joyfully” tasks Chan had assigned to her.

However, their reunion is suddenly interrupted. While on his way back to Seoul, Sunwoo Chan unexpectedly departs for the United States, leaving without the chance to properly say goodbye. His sudden decision leaves both Song Ha Ran and those around him caught off guard.

The newly released stills capture the emotional aftermath of his departure. Without Sunwoo Chan’s presence, Song Ha Ran’s previously warm smile disappears, replaced by a more complicated expression that reflects both worry and longing. The images hint at the emotional weight that his absence has placed on her.

Determined not to remain passive, Song Ha Ran decides to complete the “wish list” that Sunwoo Chan had written for the two of them to accomplish together, even if she must do so alone. Yet as she continues with the list, she gradually realizes that his absence affects her more deeply than she expected. The emotional strain eventually leads to an unexpected development: Song Ha Ran herself suddenly disappears, leaving those around her shocked.

Meanwhile, the design team at Nana Atelier is also unsettled by Sunwoo Chan’s abrupt departure. Although many of them believe he would not leave without reason and still hope for his return, Yeon Tae Seok, portrayed by Kwon Hyuk, raises concerns that the collaboration project they had been preparing may collapse if Sunwoo Chan does not return.

As the story moves forward, several questions remain unresolved. Will Sunwoo Chan return to Seoul and keep the promise he made to Song Ha Ran? And could his sudden decision to leave be connected to the mysterious changes he recently experienced after recalling a new fragment of memory?
