The studio representing Chinese actor Tian Xuning issued an official statement on March 14, announcing plans to pursue legal action against online personality Jiu Chengmei over remarks made during a livestream.
According to the statement released by Tian Xuning’s studio, comments made by Jiu Chengmei during a livestream in the early hours of March 14 contained false claims and defamatory remarks that allegedly harmed the actor’s reputation. The studio stated that these actions may constitute an infringement of Tian Xuning’s right to reputation.

In the announcement, the studio explained that it has already entrusted a legal team to collect and preserve evidence related to the alleged infringement. Preparations are also underway to file a lawsuit with the court through legal channels.
The statement further called on internet users and online platforms to refrain from spreading related content. It warned that continued dissemination of allegedly infringing information could worsen the impact of the situation and potentially expose those sharing the content to legal liability. The studio added that maintaining a healthy online environment requires collective effort from all parties involved.

The dispute follows a livestream conducted on the evening of March 13 by blogger Jiu Chengmei, who claimed during the broadcast that she had been in a two-year relationship with Tian Xuning and that the two had broken up in early 2024. During the livestream, she also shared a video that she said showed the pair kissing.
While speaking during the broadcast, Jiu Chengmei made several personal allegations regarding Tian Xuning’s private life. Some of these remarks quickly circulated online and sparked discussion among viewers.

At present, Tian Xuning’s studio has firmly denied the claims and indicated that the matter will be addressed through legal proceedings. Further developments are expected as the case progresses through formal channels.
