The upcoming Korean drama Cabbage Your Life has released new stills, offering a closer look at the relationships between its main characters ahead of the premiere. The series centers on the chaotic life of Sung Tae Hoon and his family after an unexpected change forces them to leave the city and settle in a rural village.
In the story of Cabbage Your Life, Sung Tae Hoon, played by Park Sung Woong, suddenly receives a reassignment that brings his family from Seoul to Yeonriri village. As they struggle to adapt to their new surroundings while hoping to eventually return to the city, they become entangled with the family of Im Joo Hyung, portrayed by Lee Seo Hwan, a long-time resident of the village.

From the very first meeting, Sung Tae Hoon and Im Joo Hyung find themselves at odds. Determined to secure an opportunity to return to Seoul, Sung Tae Hoon throws himself into cabbage farming. However, Im Joo Hyung maintains a skeptical and confrontational attitude toward the newcomer, leading to frequent clashes between the two men. The tension between them is not merely personal, as Im Joo Hyung’s hostility is closely tied to Sung Tae Hoon’s company, suggesting that their rivalry will remain a central element of the narrative throughout much of the series.
Amid this ongoing conflict between the two families, a different story begins to unfold between their children. Sung Ji Cheon, played by Lee Jin Woo, is the son of Sung Tae Hoon, while Im Bo Mi, portrayed by Choi Gyu Ri, is the daughter of Im Joo Hyung. The two characters feel an immediate attraction when they meet, yet their budding romance becomes complicated by the hostility between their parents. As the relationship develops, it may influence not only the families involved but also the daily life of the once peaceful Yeonriri village.

The drama also introduces another layer of rivalry through the characters’ mothers. Sung Tae Hoon’s wife Jo Mi Ryeo, played by Lee Soo Kyung, and Im Joo Hyung’s wife Nam Hye Sun, portrayed by Nam Kwon Ah, are expected to bring additional energy to the story as they compete within the village women’s association.
Blending family conflict, rural life, and youthful romance, Cabbage Your Life presents a story where personal ambitions and village relationships intertwine. The drama is scheduled to premiere on March 26 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
