Park Jinyoung of GOT7 is officially preparing for a solo comeback this spring, marking his return to music with a new release scheduled for May.

On March 19, his agency BH Entertainment confirmed that Park Jinyoung is currently working on his second mini album. In addition to recording, he is actively participating in writing lyrics, aiming to further elevate the album’s overall quality and personal expression.

Over the past few years, Park Jinyoung has steadily built a dual career across both acting and music. As an actor, he has taken on a range of roles in projects such as Our Unwritten Seoul, The Witch, and the Yumi’s Cells series, as well as the film Hi-Five, gradually strengthening his presence on screen.

At the same time, his musical journey has reflected a more introspective direction. Starting with his 2021 single DIVE and continuing with his 2023 solo EP Chapter 0: WITH, Park Jinyoung has explored emotional depth and personal storytelling, shaping a distinct identity as a solo artist. His digital single Christmas Fever, released in December last year, further showcased a softer and warmer tone aligned with the holiday season.

Beyond music, Park Jinyoung remains active in the acting field. He is currently appearing in the JTBC drama Shining and is set to star in the upcoming tvN drama 100 Days of Lies (working title), which is scheduled to premiere in the second half of the year.

With consistent activity across both industries, this upcoming comeback is expected to highlight not only his musical growth but also the balance he continues to maintain between acting and music.
