The 52nd Korean Broadcasting Awards took place on September 3 at the SBS Prism Tower in Seoul, celebrating excellence across Korean television and radio. This year’s ceremony featured dynamic performances by Daybreak, rising girl group KISS OF LIFE, and solo artist Kwon Eun Bi, adding a festive touch to the prestigious industry event.

Among the evening’s biggest winners was MBC’s acclaimed drama Doubt, which took home the Grand Prize (Daesang), solidifying its status as one of the year’s most impactful productions. Director Song Yeon Hwa, also from Doubt, was honored with the Best Producer award, further highlighting the show’s exceptional storytelling and production quality.

In the acting category, Lee Jun Hyuk won Best Actor for his performance in SBS’s Love Scout, earning recognition for his compelling and nuanced portrayal. SBS also celebrated another major win with Buried Hearts, which was named Best Drama, a testament to the network’s strong showing in narrative television this year.

Park Bo Gum was awarded Best Variety Star for his work on KBS2TV’s The Seasons: Cantabile of Park Bo Gum. His charm, warmth, and musical talent have helped the show gain steady popularity and solidify its place in the variety landscape.

In the music category, j-hope of BTS was named Best Singer, acknowledging his success as a solo artist and his continued influence in the global music scene.

The 52nd Korean Broadcasting Awards once again showcased the depth and range of talent across Korean entertainment, from actors and producers to variety performers and musicians. As the industry continues to evolve, these awards reflect the passion, creativity, and innovation driving Korean content to both domestic and international acclaim.
