At the heart of the story is Yajima Risa (played by Igeta Hiroe), a 29-year-old employee at a life insurance company. On the surface, her life appears stable, but beneath it, her three-year marriage is starting to crumble under the pressure of fertility treatments. Moved by Ryo’s situation, Risa initially hopes to help him—but their connection takes a complicated turn as they fall into a forbidden relationship. What begins as sympathy quickly spirals into a desperate, hopeless affair, forcing Risa to confront the emotional and moral consequences of her choices.
