Overview of ‘The New Employee Chairman Kang’

JTBC’s upcoming drama, ‘The New Employee Chairman Kang,’ is generating excitement among fans with its impressive cast. Starring Lee Jun Young as Hwang Joon Hyun and Son Hyun Joo as Kang Yong Ho, the series follows a fascinating tale of ambition, identity, and corporate intrigue. Set to premiere in 2026, the show explores the life of Kang Yong Ho, a businessman whose soul is unexpectedly swapped with that of a young soccer player, forcing him to navigate life as a rookie employee.

Character Dynamics and Development

Son Hyun Joo’s character, Kang Yong Ho, has built the Choi Sung Group into a leading conglomerate through sheer determination and business acumen. His tenacity earns him the title of ‘God of Business’. However, after an accident, he must confront new challenges in a foreign body. Alongside Lee Jun Young, who plays the soccer player Hwang Joon Hyun, viewers will witness a unique dynamic as the two characters intertwine through their extraordinary circumstances.

Supporting Cast and Their Roles

The drama also features notable performances from Lee Ju Myoung, Jeon Hye Jin, and Jin Goo. Lee Ju Myoung portrays Kang Bang Geul, a hidden daughter of the conglomerate, while Jeon Hye Jin takes on the role of Kang Jae Kyung, the driven twin daughter of Kang Yong Ho. Jin Goo plays Kang Jae Sung, the ambitious yet insecure twin son, further enriching the storyline with competitive family dynamics.
