Fukushi Sota to Star in Fuji TV Drama “Tokyo P.D. Keishicho Koho 2 Kakari,” Ogata Naoto Joins as Key Cast Member

Actor Fukushi Sota takes the lead role, with Ogata Naoto joining the main cast in the upcoming drama “Tokyo P.D. Keishicho Koho 2 Kakari.” The series is based on an original concept by an experienced journalist who previously covered the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, offering an authentic look at the pride, struggles, and inner conflicts of public relations officers and detectives in the field.

The story follows Imaizumi Rintaro (played by Fukushi Sota), who joins the Tokyo Metropolitan Police with the dream of becoming part of the elite First Investigation Division. However, he is unexpectedly assigned to Public Relations Section 2, which handles media relations. The drama depicts his efforts to solve cases in this unexpected role while exploring the complex dynamics between law enforcement and the press.

“Tokyo P.D. Keishicho Koho 2 Kakari” is set to air on Fuji TV every Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. beginning January 2026.
