The special drama Yokkaichi ni Ittara Jinsei ga 180-do Kawatta Ken, starring comedian Yoshizumi, is set to air on Chukyo TV across two dates, December 13 and December 20. The production also features four members of the group Genin wa Jibun ni Aru—Muto Jun, Koizumi Kosaku, Nagano Ryota, and Sakuragi Masaya—adding a youthful charm to the cast.

Set in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, the story blends humor, romance, and a touch of fantasy. The protagonist, Mikami Noriko (played by Yoshizumi), dreams of getting married but is unexpectedly dumped by her boyfriend. During a short business trip, she visits the Yokkaichi Tourism Association and is assigned a PR project titled “Yokkaichi: A Town You’d Want to Stroll Through with Someone You Love.” Guided by four handsome young staff members at the association, she begins to discover the unique allure of Yokkaichi.
The drama presents a warm and lighthearted narrative that intertwines local charm with a woman’s journey toward emotional healing. With its whimsical tone and romantic undertones, the series aims to offer viewers a refreshing and comforting experience at the end of the year.
