Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin are officially reuniting for a new psychological thriller. On December 4, MBC revealed its 2026 drama lineup, confirming that the two actors will star in “Liar” (literal title), following earlier reports that they were in talks.
“Liar” tells the story of a man and a woman who present completely different versions of the same memory. As they clash over what each believes to be the truth, the drama delves into an intense battle of perceptions, blurring the lines between memory, lies, and reality.
This project marks the pair’s reunion after “Dr. Romantic,” raising expectations for their on-screen chemistry and emotional depth. The drama will be directed by Jo Young Min, known for his refined storytelling in “You and Everything Else.” With his signature style, the production aims to deliver a gripping and sophisticated psychological narrative.
