The upcoming historical fantasy romance To My Beloved Thief has unveiled its first stills of Han So Eun in character, offering an early glimpse into a storyline shaped by fate, duty, and forbidden emotions.

To My Beloved Thief follows Hong Eun Jo (Nam Ji Hyun), a woman who unexpectedly becomes the bandit known as Gil Dong, and a Joseon prince who switches souls with her while pursuing her. After their souls are mysteriously exchanged, the two gradually come to understand each other’s lives and work together to protect the people, weaving romance into a larger tale of justice and transformation.

Han So Eun portrays Shin Hae Rim, a noblewoman born into a prestigious family. Orphaned at a young age, she is raised under the strict supervision of her stern older brother and grows up confined by etiquette, tradition, and family expectations. Gentle by nature and quietly romantic at heart, she nonetheless accepts an arranged marriage to a man she has never met, as dictated by the customs of noble society.

Despite having no say in the marriage, Shin Hae Rim clings to a modest hope that affection might one day grow between her and her future husband. That fragile balance is shattered when she unexpectedly meets Prince Yi Yeol (Moon Sang Min). In that fleeting encounter, she experiences genuine attraction for the first time, forcing her to confront emotions she was never meant to acknowledge.
The newly released stills capture the moment her orderly world begins to shift. Elegantly dressed in silk as she walks through the marketplace, Shin Hae Rim’s refined presence stands out effortlessly. In another image, her wide, glimmering eyes reveal the unmistakable flutter of love at first sight, hinting at the emotional turbulence that lies ahead.
Through Shin Hae Rim’s story, To My Beloved Thief explores the tension between personal desire and inherited duty, particularly within the rigid framework of Joseon-era society. Her emotional awakening adds depth to the drama’s fantastical premise and positions her as a key figure in its romantic narrative.
To My Beloved Thief is scheduled to premiere on January 3 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
