The upcoming film Sister has released new stills featuring Jung Zi So in character, offering a closer look at the emotional core of this tense psychological thriller.
Sister tells the story of Hae Ran (Jung Zi So), who kidnaps her older sister So Jin (Cha Joo Young) in hopes of obtaining a large ransom. Behind the scenes is Tae Su (Lee Soo Hyuk), the ruthless mastermind who orchestrates the entire scheme. As So Jin struggles to survive and escape her captivity, the fragile balance between the three characters begins to fracture.

The newly unveiled stills capture Hae Ran’s raw and unfiltered emotions. In one image, she clutches her arm with a strained expression, suggesting a sudden and volatile confrontation unfolding before her eyes. Caught between Tae Su’s cold-blooded control and So Jin’s confusion as an unwilling hostage, Hae Ran appears shaken, signaling that the kidnapping plan is spiraling beyond her control.
Another still shows Hae Ran leaning against a wall in a softly lit space, her exhausted gaze hinting at the deeper psychological layers of the story. As the emotional center of the film, Hae Ran is portrayed not merely as a perpetrator, but as a character consumed by inner conflict, fear, and moral collapse.
Through these images, Sister promises a narrative that goes beyond suspense, delving into fractured family ties and the destructive consequences of manipulation and desperation. The film is set to hit theaters on January 28, 2026.
