The upcoming drama Spring Fever has unveiled its ensemble cast of high school teachers, offering a glimpse into the colorful dynamics at Shinsu High School. The romantic comedy centers on the love story between Yoon Bom (Lee Joo Bin), an emotionally guarded teacher, and Seon Jae Gyu (Ahn Bo Hyun), whose warmth gradually melts her icy defenses.

Recently released stills highlight the school’s faculty, each member bringing a distinct personality and storyline. From the enigmatic Yoon Bom, who constantly piques the curiosity of her colleagues and townspeople, to the rest of the tightly knit teaching staff, the drama promises a blend of everyday realism and gentle humor.

Yoon Bom was once a charismatic, top-ranked teacher beloved by students for her natural charm. After an unexpected incident, however, she relocates to Shinsu Village and resolves to live quietly, keeping emotional distance from those around her. Her calm, detached demeanor only deepens her air of mystery within the school community.

Jin Kyung and Bae Jung Nam portray Korean language teacher Seo Hye Suk and P.E. teacher Jung Jin Hyuk, respectively. Hye Suk is a single mother raising twins on her own and the landlord of Yoon Bom’s home, known among colleagues as the school’s resident gossip hub. Jin Hyuk, once nicknamed the “Shinsu Village idol,” takes pride in his looks and popularity.

Now middle-aged and unmarried, Jin Hyuk devotes himself to caring for his ill mother. Through an unexpected opportunity to learn jiu-jitsu together with their fellow teachers, he and Hye Suk begin to experience subtle romantic stirrings, setting the stage for a heartfelt and relatable middle-aged love story.

The faculty lineup is rounded out by Kim Byung Choon as the powerless and perpetually struggling principal Seok Gwan Soo, Oh Man Seok as the irritating yet oddly pitiful vice principal Hong Jung Pyo—whose attention often strays toward side income—and Jung Young Ki as Wi Jung Hwan, the school’s steady mediator and frequent scene-stealer.

Spring Fever is set to premiere on January 5 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
