Han Ji Min is reportedly reviewing an offer to star in the upcoming spy drama Koreans (working title), potentially reuniting with Lee Byung Hun for a new project.
According to reports on January 13, Han Ji Min has been offered the role of the female lead in Koreans, portraying one half of the drama’s central spy couple. The role was previously discussed with Jun Ji Hyun, who ultimately declined due to scheduling conflicts. Lee Byung Hun is currently in talks to play the male lead, her on-screen husband.

In response, Han Ji Min’s agency BH Entertainment confirmed that she has received the offer and is reviewing it positively. However, they noted that a final decision has yet to be made, as her participation will depend on adjustments to her existing schedule.
If confirmed, Koreans would mark the third collaboration between Han Ji Min and Lee Byung Hun. The two previously appeared in the 2003 drama All In and the 2022 series Our Blues, though their characters did not share scenes in either project.
Directed by Ahn Gil Ho, known for The Glory, Koreans is a Korean adaptation of the acclaimed American series The Americans. While the original series was set during the Cold War era of the 1980s, the remake will reinterpret the story against the backdrop of Korea’s military dictatorship, offering a distinct historical and political context.
Meanwhile, Han Ji Min is also preparing for the release of her upcoming JTBC drama Efficient Dating for Singles, continuing her steady presence in television projects.
