The period romance drama “Love Story in the 1970s”, starring Chen Feiyu and Sun Qian, is finally approaching its long-awaited release. The series is currently scheduled to premiere in February, aligning with the pre–Lunar New Year window. Given its nostalgic setting and relationship-driven narrative, the drama is widely seen as a good fit for the Spring Festival viewing season, which traditionally favors warmer, slower-paced stories.

As the broadcast date draws closer, Chen Feiyu and Sun Qian are expected to participate in joint promotional activities, with official materials and publicity events likely to roll out soon. For Chen Feiyu, the drama represents one of his more anticipated unreleased projects, and its reception will be closely watched.
Following this, Chen Feiyu’s costume drama Mu Xu Ci is also entering the scheduling phase and is reportedly aiming for a March release. If confirmed, two of his backlogged projects will air in quick succession, significantly increasing his on-screen presence in the first quarter of the year.

In terms of future filming plans, Chen Feiyu has stepped away from the modern romance drama Confession, signaling a shift in focus. He is currently in talks for the male-oriented series Tian Xing Jiu Ge, which could mark a new direction in both genre and role selection. Overall, his recent choices suggest a strategy centered on clearing existing projects, maintaining a steady exposure rhythm, and gradually preparing for broader career development.
