tvN’s upcoming variety show The Village Barber has released new posters and a teaser, drawing attention ahead of its premiere. The program follows Park Bo Gum, joined by his close friends Lee Sang Yi and Kwak Dong Yeon, as they run a unique barbershop in a remote rural village, caring for both appearances and emotions.

The newly revealed group poster captures a fairytale-like winter scene. Fresh snow blankets the yard as the three men work together around a customer. Park Bo Gum focuses on cutting hair, Lee Sang Yi cleans and assists nearby, and Kwak Dong Yeon stands ready with various tools. Their natural teamwork and bright smiles create a warm, inviting image that hints at the gentle stories to come.

The teaser video offers a closer look at each member’s role. Park Bo Gum, serving as the main barber, greets customers with kindness and attentiveness, asking if they feel comfortable and carefully handling each step of the haircut. His calm demeanor and focused movements highlight his sincerity toward the craft.

Lee Sang Yi brings a cheerful energy to the village. He lends a hand with physically demanding farm work, such as carrying compost, and also takes on nail care with a surprisingly delicate touch. His role adds lightness and emotional warmth to the barbershop atmosphere.

Kwak Dong Yeon appears as the dependable cook of the group. From skillfully making golden fish-shaped pastries to preparing hearty dishes like stir-fried dubu kimchi, he takes charge of meals and snacks for both the team and their customers, reinforcing the show’s cozy, communal tone.

Set to premiere on January 30 at 8:40 p.m. KST, The Village Barber presents a quiet yet uplifting portrait of rural life, where simple acts like cutting hair, sharing food, and offering help become moments of genuine connection.
