SBS’s upcoming romantic comedy Sold Out on You has released new stills featuring Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin fully immersed in their characters, offering a glimpse into the drama’s contrasting personalities and playful tension. The series was also introduced on January 21 at Netflix’s “Next on Netflix 2026 Korea” event in Seoul, where the platform presented its Korean content lineup for the year.

Sold Out on You follows Matthew Lee, played by Ahn Hyo Seop, a farmer who leads a modest life while juggling multiple jobs. Known by the nickname “Mechoori” (“Quail”), a lighthearted play on the Korean pronunciation of his name, Matthew values routine and solitude in the tranquil village of Deokpung. His carefully ordered world begins to unravel when Dam Ye Jin, portrayed by Chae Won Bin, suddenly storms into his life.
Dam Ye Jin is a high-profile show host plagued by severe insomnia. Determined to obtain Matthew’s rare white flower mushrooms, she tracks him down to his village and proceeds to follow him relentlessly, disrupting his peaceful daily rhythm. Her arrival marks the beginning of a dynamic built on intrusion and resistance, where persistence meets restraint.

Unsettled by Ye Jin’s unapologetic intrusion, Matthew responds with visible irritation and emotional distance, doing everything he can to keep her at bay. Yet Ye Jin’s personality is anything but subtle. Bold, direct, and unwavering, she presses forward with single-minded determination, refusing to retreat even in the face of Matthew’s cold indifference.
The newly unveiled stills capture the pair dressed in farming gear, standing in what appears to be a cornfield. Matthew is shown with his hands on his hips, glaring at Ye Jin with unmistakable annoyance, while she remains entirely unbothered—smiling casually as she pulls out her phone to make a call. The contrast between his guarded suspicion and her relaxed confidence highlights the clash that lies at the heart of the story, hinting at the sparks sure to follow.
Blending rural charm with opposites-attract romance, Sold Out on You is set to premiere in the spring of 2026.
