MBC’s upcoming romance drama “In Your Radiant Season” has unveiled new stills featuring Han Ji Hyeon, offering a closer look at her character ahead of the premiere. The series centers on the love story between Sunwoo Chan (Chae Jong Hyeop), a man who lives each day like an exhilarating summer vacation, and Song Ha Ran (Lee Sung Kyung), a woman who has emotionally withdrawn, as if trapped in a long winter.
Han Ji Hyeon plays Song Ha Young, a junior designer at Nana Atelier, the luxury fashion house where her older sister Song Ha Ran serves as head designer. As the middle child among three sisters, Song Ha Young believes her family would struggle without her presence and places immense value on her role within it. With her bold personality and bright energy, she takes it upon herself to lift the spirits of both her older sister and her younger sibling, Song Ha Dam (Oh Ye Ju).
Behind Song Ha Young’s uninhibited and confident exterior lies a deeply caring and thoughtful heart. She is particularly devoted to protecting her older sister from their grandmother, Kim Nana (Lee Mi Sook), whose harsh criticism often weighs heavily on Song Ha Ran. At the same time, her affectionate yet bickering relationship with her high school senior sister Song Ha Dam portrays a realistic and relatable sibling dynamic.
The newly released stills capture Song Ha Young’s free-spirited confidence in the workplace. In one image, she is shown fully immersed in her design work, her focused gaze reflecting her professionalism. In another, she stands with her arms crossed, using expressive facial cues to assert her emotions, highlighting the character’s direct and honest nature.
According to the production team, Han Ji Hyeon delivers a well-balanced portrayal of Song Ha Young, seamlessly blending her cheerful, energetic side with the subtle emotions beneath the surface. Though she appears strong and outspoken, the character stands at the threshold of personal growth. The journey of this “middle child” is expected to resonate with viewers while adding an emotional flutter to the drama.
