A Quiet, Emotional Reflection on Family and Growth

As JTBC’s drama “Love Me” approaches its finale, the six leading cast members have shared their final thoughts, offering a heartfelt farewell to viewers who have accompanied the story to its conclusion. A remake of a Swedish series created by Josephine Bornebusch, the drama portrays a seemingly selfish yet deeply relatable family, each member navigating their own path toward love and personal growth.

Seo Hyun Jin, who played Seo Jun Kyung, expressed her gratitude to viewers for embracing the bittersweet Seo family. She shared her hope that audiences laughed and cried alongside the characters, and that the story offered comfort to those moving forward step by step through life’s uncertainties. For her, “Love Me” was not just a role, but an experience she sincerely enjoyed sharing with viewers.

Yoo Jae Myung described the project as a precious journey, reflecting on how the drama reminded him that unexpected pain can be an essential part of life, and that family remains a powerful source of support. Expressing thanks to the cast, crew, and audience, he concluded with a quiet affirmation that life itself is beautiful.

Lee Si Woo spoke warmly of every stage of his experience, from first meeting the project and his character Jun Seo to connecting with viewers through the broadcast. Yoon Sea echoed similar sentiments, noting that the drama gave her love and courage, and that growing alongside such an emotionally rich project felt especially meaningful at this point in her life.

Chang Ryul shared that the series allowed him to express emotions he had long held inside, while also prompting deeper reflection on the values of family and love. Dahyun, who made her drama debut through “Love Me,” expressed appreciation for the warm atmosphere on set and the support she received, hoping the drama would remain in viewers’ hearts as a gentle and comforting presence.

The final two episodes of “Love Me” will air consecutively on January 23 at 8:50 p.m. KST, bringing to a close a story that quietly explored intimacy, loneliness, and the bonds that hold people together.
