The Korean Business Research Institute has announced its brand reputation rankings for rising singers for January, offering a snapshot of public interest and engagement within the Korean music industry.
The rankings were compiled through an analysis of media exposure, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness, based on big data collected between December 21, 2025, and January 21, 2026. This methodology reflects both traditional media presence and online public response over the past month.

Trot singer Kim Yong Bin retained his position at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 3,068,526, maintaining strong visibility and discussion levels. Close behind, Stray Kids ranked second with an index of 3,012,140, recording a 3.53 percent increase compared to December.
Rock band DAY6 held steady in third place with a score of 2,790,473, while singer Park Ji Hyeon followed in fourth with 2,606,479. Rounding out the top five was trot singer Park Seo Jin, whose index rose by 23.88 percent to reach 2,543,677.
The remainder of the top 30 includes a diverse mix of established acts and newer names across genres, highlighting the breadth of audience attention in the current music landscape. Idol groups such as ENHYPEN, BABYMONSTER, and TWS appeared alongside solo artists including Lee Mujin and Jung Seung Hwan.
Overall, the January rankings illustrate shifting trends in public engagement, with both idol groups and solo performers demonstrating sustained or growing presence across media and online platforms.
