Ahead of its highly anticipated final episode, “IDOL I” has released new stills that offer a glimpse into how the story is about to conclude. The drama is a mystery courtroom romance starring Sooyoung as Maeng Se Na, a star lawyer who is also a devoted fan, and Kim Jae Yeong as Do Ra Ik, the top idol she decides to defend after he is accused of murder. What begins as a relationship between a fan and her favorite artist gradually turns into a shared journey through suspicion, trust, and emotional conflict.

In the previous episode, Maeng Se Na and Do Ra Ik finally came face to face with the truth. With decisive evidence in the Kang Woo Sung murder case revealed, the tangled situation started to fall back into place. Do Ra Ik’s words, “True love is watching over someone from afar and supporting them,” followed by Maeng Se Na once again cheering for him as she used to, left viewers wondering how their relationship would ultimately be resolved.

The newly released stills suggest that the two may be approaching a meaningful farewell. Even after the case is settled, Do Ra Ik remains uneasy about the future, yet whenever he is with Maeng Se Na, his worries seem to fade. Standing together beneath a crape myrtle tree, holding hands and smiling softly, they create a scene filled with warmth and calm, prompting curiosity about what they might have said to each other at that moment.

Another set of stills shows the two characters back in their respective places, highlighting how much they have changed. Maeng Se Na is seen with bright, determined eyes as she begins a long-buried retrial, signaling her resolve to keep moving forward. Do Ra Ik, meanwhile, appears on stage once again, looking radiant and reassuring, much like the idol he was at the beginning of the story.

Having gone from fan and favorite idol to lawyer and suspect, and now standing at the threshold of new beginnings, Maeng Se Na and Do Ra Ik have come full circle. The final episode will reveal what kind of relationship and ending awaits them. The finale of “IDOL I” airs on January 27 at 10 p.m. KST.
