Actor Ha Seok Jin is reportedly in talks to lead KBS2’s upcoming weekend drama “Love Is Coming” (literal title). On January 29, MyDaily reported that he had been cast as the male lead, prompting his agency to confirm that he has received the offer and is currently reviewing it.

EXID’s Hani is also in discussions to take on the female lead role, playing the owner of a side-dish shop in a traditional market. If confirmed, the project would mark the pair’s first on-screen collaboration.
Ha Seok Jin has been offered the role of Kim Moo Jin, an Italian restaurant owner-chef born into wealth. Despite his privileged background, the character goes to great lengths to conceal his identity as the owner’s son, choosing to dress modestly, commute by public transportation, and work part-time at his own restaurant. His life becomes intertwined with that of Han Gyu Rim, the market-based side-dish shop owner portrayed by Hani, leading to a subtle and understated romantic dynamic.
“Love Is Coming” is described as a family drama that explores the contradictions of familial bonds—families that may feel exhausting or fractured, yet ultimately remain united when one of their own is hurt by the outside world.
The drama is written by Lee Kyung Hee, known for “The Innocent Man” and “Uncontrollably Fond,” and directed by Hong Seok Gu of “Beauty and Mr. Romantic.” It is scheduled to premiere in August as the follow-up to “Recipe for Love.”
