JTBC’s upcoming Friday drama Shining has released new stills featuring Shin Jae Ha and Kim Min Ju, drawing attention ahead of its premiere.
Shining tells the story of young people who once shared a world of their own and gradually become each other’s source of trust and the light that guides their lives.

In the drama, Shin Jae Ha portrays Bae Seong Chan, a hotelier. The two characters first met when Bae Seong Chan was still a rookie in the hotel industry, and they have known each other for a long time. It was also Bae Seong Chan who suggested that Mo Eun Ah, played by Kim Min Ju, take up hotel work as she wandered in search of her own path.
In the newly released stills, Bae Seong Chan’s relaxed yet confident presence stands out, highlighting his mature charm. His sharp but steady gaze seems to carry a quiet affection toward Mo Eun Ah, raising anticipation for the dynamic between the two characters. Mo Eun Ah’s calm and comfortable expression as she looks at him further draws attention to Bae Seong Chan’s storyline, as he is set to create a different kind of chemistry from Yeon Tae Seo, played by Park Jinyoung.
Shin Jae Ha described the relationship between Mo Eun Ah and Bae Seong Chan as being like embers. Although it may appear to have faded on the surface, embers do not easily go out and still retain warmth. In the same way, their relationship seems fragile yet enduring, never blazing brightly but never losing its remaining warmth.
Shining is scheduled to premiere on March 6 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
