The Korean film “The King’s Warden” has surpassed 4 million moviegoers just 15 days after its release, maintaining notable box office momentum.

On February 18, the Korean Film Council announced that the film had recorded a cumulative total of 4,002,184 viewers as of that afternoon. After crossing the 3 million mark on the morning of February 17, it added another one million admissions within a single day, quickly reaching the 4 million milestone.
The pace surpasses that of several major Korean releases. “The King and the Clown,” the first historical film in Korea to exceed 10 million admissions, took 17 days to reach 4 million viewers. Similarly, 2025’s top-grossing Korean film, “My Daughter Is a Zombie,” achieved the same milestone in 17 days. In comparison, “The King’s Warden” reached the mark more quickly, underscoring its sustained audience interest.
Directed by Jang Hang Jun and starring Yoo Hae Jin, Park Ji Hoon, Jeon Mi Do, Lee Jun Hyuk, and Kim Min, the film continues to draw attention as its theatrical run progresses.
