Whispering Water has unveiled its first official stills of Kim Hye Yoon in character, heightening anticipation for the upcoming horror release.
The film follows a production crew dispatched to the Salmokji reservoir after an unidentified figure was discovered in previously captured road-view footage. As they attempt to reshoot the scene, they begin to sense a mysterious presence lurking within the dark, deep waters.

Kim Hye Yoon stars as Soo In, a producing director who leads the team back to Salmokji to recreate the footage containing the unexplained figure. Firm in her belief that she only trusts what she sees with her own eyes, Soo In undergoes psychological shifts as she confronts unexplainable terror, ultimately fighting alongside her colleagues in a desperate attempt to escape the reservoir.
The newly released stills highlight a wide emotional spectrum—from shock as if witnessing something in the night to an expression overwhelmed by fear—intensifying the film’s suspenseful tone.

Director Lee Sang Min commented, “She is a character with a strong sense of responsibility—someone who is afraid but tries to resolve everything to the very end. We believed Kim Hye Yoon’s sharp and powerful image perfectly suits Soo In’s cool-headed and quick-witted nature. From the beginning, the role was meant for her.”
“Whispering Water” is scheduled to premiere in theaters on April 8.
