Lee Jong Suk and Lee Jun Hyuk are set to headline two new romance dramas that share the same fictional universe.
On February 23, ACE FACTORY announced, “Lee Jong Suk will star in ‘Iseop’s Romance,’ while Lee Jun Hyuk will take the lead role in ‘A Casual Lie.’”

Iseop’s Romance and A Casual Lie (working titles) are adaptations of popular web novels written by author Kim Eon Hee. Although the two stories feature different protagonists, both novels are set within the same universe. As a result, their drama adaptations will also be interconnected.
“Iseop’s Romance” centers on Tae I Seop, a third-generation chaebol heir who excels in every aspect of life except romance. His story unfolds alongside Kang Min Kyeong, the talented “secret weapon” of TK Group.
Meanwhile, “A Casual Lie” follows Tae Jun Seop, the grandson of TK Group chairman Tae Si Hwan. As he becomes entangled in the company’s succession race, his life takes an unexpected turn when copywriter Yeon Woo Kyung enters the picture.
Notably, Tae I Seop and Tae Jun Seop are cousins, linking the two narratives even more closely. Lee Jong Suk and Lee Jun Hyuk will portray the respective characters, adding further interest to the shared-universe concept.

The two dramas are currently scheduled to be produced simultaneously due to their connected storylines, with filming expected to begin within the year. As additional casting and production details emerge, anticipation continues to build for this unique dual romance project.
