The upcoming film Messily Ever After (working title) has offered a first look at its script reading, highlighting the dynamic chemistry between its leads.
The romantic comedy centers on a couple in their 10th year of dating—deeply in love yet equally prone to intense arguments—who find themselves caught up in all kinds of chaotic antics in the name of love. The film will be directed by rookie filmmaker Seo Jung Min.

Su Hyun, played by Kim Min Ha, and Hyun Tae, portrayed by Noh Sang Hyun, meet by chance on an arts university campus and fall in love at first sight. Their relationship continues with unmatched passion, and even after 10 years together, their emotions remain intense—both in affection and in conflict. The film humorously captures the raw and relatable dynamics of a long-term relationship, presenting a romance that feels both chaotic and heartfelt.
Notably, Kim Min Ha and Noh Sang Hyun previously delivered a poignant romance in the series Pachinko. Reuniting for this project, they take on the roles of a long-term couple who understand each other with just a glance. Their natural rapport was already evident during the script reading session.
In the film, Su Hyun is a talented curator who strives for perfection in her career, yet reveals an unexpectedly vulnerable side when confronted with love and jealousy. Hyun Tae, an installation artist with strong convictions and a stubborn streak, brings a contrasting yet complementary energy to their relationship.

As production moves forward, anticipation continues to build for this romantic comedy that explores the messy, passionate realities of enduring love.
