KBS1’s upcoming weekday drama “Our Happy Days” has unveiled a glimpse of its first script reading session, drawing attention to the cast’s dynamic performances and on-screen chemistry.
“Our Happy Days” is described as a warm, multigenerational family series. The story centers on the clash between a seemingly perfect man and a lovable yet clumsy woman, both striving to become the protagonist of their own lives. Through their journeys, the drama aims to reflect on family, growth, and everyday resilience.

At the script reading, Yoon Jong Hoon impressed with his portrayal of Go Gyeol, a highly accomplished architect recognized with a prestigious Young Architect of the Year award. His composed delivery and attention to detail hinted at a layered character beneath the polished exterior.
Starring opposite him, Uhm Hyun Kyung took on the role of Jo Eun Ae, a startup developer determined to create a more humane world through AI-driven innovation. Her bright energy and expressive performance helped energize the reading session and set the tone for the romantic and emotional elements of the story.

Actors Jung Yoon and Yoon Da Young also drew attention with their portrayals of Go Min Ho and Seo Seung Ri, respectively. The chemistry among the four leads was evident even in this early stage, heightening anticipation for the drama’s premiere.
Veteran performers including Kim Hye Ok, Sunwoo Jae Duk, Yoon Da Hoon, Moon Hee Kyung, Lee Sang Sook, Jung Ho Bin, Lee Ho Jae, and Jung Young Sook further elevated the session with seasoned performances, reinforcing expectations for a heartfelt ensemble drama.
Yoon Jong Hoon shared that he hopes the series will encourage viewers to reflect on the meaning of family in contemporary society. Uhm Hyun Kyung added that the drama highlights the preciousness of ordinary days, inviting audiences to watch with that perspective in mind.
