Following earlier reports that Song Kang is in discussions to star in the upcoming romance drama “White Scandal” (literal title), Sports Chosun has further reported that Kim So Hyun has also received an offer to lead the project as the female protagonist.
In response, her agency PEACHY stated, “Kim So Hyun has received an offer for ‘White Scandal’ and is currently reviewing it.”
Kim So Hyun has reportedly been offered the role of Ji Eun Seol, a former child actress who fell from grace after taking the blame for her older brother’s crimes. The character later enters into a contractual relationship with Dan Yi Hyuk, a role currently under consideration by Song Kang. Should both actors accept, the project would mark their reunion five years after starring together in Love Alarm.
Kim So Hyun has recently drawn attention for her performances in River Where the Moon Rises, My Lovely Liar, Serendipity’s Embrace, and The Tale of Nokdu, among others. Anticipation is already building around her potential next project.
“White Scandal” remains in the casting and preparation stage, with further official announcements pending.
