The youth drama 《校服的裙摆》- The Skirt of Youth is set to premiere on February 25, 2026. Starring Xie Binbin, Zhang Xinyi, Gong Wanyi, Yuan Ye, and Cui Yuxin, the series centers on campus life and follows a group of young students as they pursue their artistic dreams while navigating personal growth.
The story follows Yi Lan, a gifted cellist who showed remarkable talent from an early age. After the loss of her mother, she stops playing and distances herself from music. In middle school, she becomes captivated by the violin performance of Luo Ningzi and later enrolls in the same high school with renewed determination. However, failing to secure a place in the school orchestra leaves her discouraged once again.
Encouraged by her childhood friend Tong Xiaole, Yi Lan decides to form her own piano trio rather than wait for another opportunity. She recruits Qiao Mengmeng, an enthusiastic pianist, and Chen Fan, a confident violinist from a privileged background. Despite early challenges and differences, the trio gradually finds harmony through perseverance and sincerity. Their dedication earns recognition from the school community and restores Yi Lan’s confidence in her path.
As Yi Lan pursues her dream, Tong Xiaole rediscovers his passion for photography. With guidance from his teachers, he begins to envision a future in photojournalism. The drama begins streaming at 12:00 p.m. on February 25 with eight episodes released on the first day. Four new episodes will follow daily at noon, leading up to the finale on March 1. Viewers with different access arrangements will follow an alternate schedule, with staggered releases concluding on April 4.
