ENA’s upcoming drama “Climax” has released a new poster, offering a closer look at the central dynamic between its two leads. The series follows prosecutor Bang Tae Seob, played by Ju Ji Hoon, as he plunges into a powerful cartel in pursuit of climbing to the very top of South Korea’s power structure.

Opposite him, Ha Ji Won takes on the role of Chu Sang Ah, a former A-list actress whose once-flourishing career has begun to falter. As circumstances unfold, she finds herself at the heart of a massive cartel that bridges the entertainment industry and the political world. While the two characters share the title of husband and wife, the drama explores how they navigate ambition and survival in markedly different ways.
The newly revealed poster presents Bang Tae Seob and Chu Sang Ah within a single composition that subtly emphasizes distance. Bang Tae Seob appears steady and composed, gazing straight ahead with quiet determination. In a separate frame within the same layout, Chu Sang Ah looks in the same direction, yet the visual division suggests that their focus lies on separate paths. Though united by marriage, their journeys appear individually driven.

A striking line on the poster reads, “You in your way, me in mine. Let’s see the end each of us wants.” The phrase encapsulates the emotional and strategic tension between the couple. Bound together in name, they are nonetheless confronted with personal choices that may lead them toward different destinations.
Set against a sweeping backdrop where politics and entertainment intersect, “Climax” portrays the clash of interests, desires, and survival instincts. Bang Tae Seob and Chu Sang Ah must each decide what they are willing to protect and what they seek to gain. Their relationship becomes the narrative’s central axis, balancing emotion and calculation side by side.
“Climax” is scheduled to premiere on March 16 at 10 p.m. KST.
