Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy Boyfriend On Demand has unveiled a new poster, offering a glimpse into the chemistry between its leads, Seo In Guk and Jisoo. Directed by Kim Jung Sik, known for Work Later, Drink Now and Not Others, the series follows the story of Seo Mi Rae, an overworked webtoon producer who turns to a virtual dating simulation subscription service in pursuit of her ideal romance.

In Boyfriend On Demand, Jisoo takes on the role of Mi Rae, a dedicated professional whose daily life revolves around tight deadlines and demanding schedules. Seeking an escape, she subscribes to the virtual romance service that promises thrilling dates and carefully tailored partners. Seo In Guk plays Kyeong Nam, her coworker, whose presence begins to disrupt Mi Rae’s routine in unexpected ways. As Mi Rae and Kyeong Nam gradually become more aware of each other, their evolving relationship emerges as a central element of the narrative in Boyfriend On Demand.
The newly released poster captures their dynamic against the backdrop of the webtoon production world. After experiencing the exhilarating dates offered by the “Boyfriend On Demand” service, Mi Rae is drawn into a sweet and immersive fantasy. At the same time, Kyeong Nam’s steady gaze hints at genuine emotions developing beyond the virtual realm. The contrast between fantasy and reality raises anticipation over how Mi Rae’s feelings will unfold and whether Kyeong Nam will ultimately become the one who truly captures her heart in Boyfriend On Demand.
The drama also features a lineup of virtual love interests who add further intrigue to Mi Rae’s journey. Seo Kang Jun, Lee Soo Hyuk, Ong Seong Wu, Lee Jae Wook, Lee Hyun Wook, Jay Park, and Lee Sang Yi appear together on the poster, signaling notable special appearances. Addressing the star-studded cameos, director Kim Jung Sik explained that the creative team sought to showcase the many facets of Mi Rae’s character by crafting diverse scenarios and professions within the virtual world. He added that each guest appearance was matched thoughtfully to roles that highlighted the performers’ unique charm and strengths.
Boyfriend On Demand is scheduled to premiere on March 6, marking the start of what promises to be a romantic journey blending virtual fantasy with real-world emotion.
