South Korean actress Han Go Eun is preparing to return to television dramas after a four-year hiatus, drawing attention from fans who have been waiting for her next acting project.

On March 12, Han Go Eun uploaded a video to her personal YouTube channel titled “The One Truly Important Standard When Choosing a Spouse, According to Han Go Eun Who Successfully Married at 41.” The video featured a Q&A session with fans to celebrate her channel surpassing 100,000 subscribers.

During the session, Han Go Eun responded to a question about her acting comeback and revealed that she would soon begin filming a new drama. She shared that viewers may be able to see her return to television around early June. According to Han Go Eun, the upcoming project will be a daily drama, and she expressed hope that audiences would show support for the effort she plans to put into the role.

The new project will mark Han Go Eun’s first drama appearance since the 2022 television series There Is No Goo Pil Soo. In recent years, the number of film and television productions in the industry has declined noticeably, a situation that has affected even established actors. Against this backdrop, news that Han Go Eun has chosen a new project after several years away from dramas has attracted positive reactions from viewers.

Attention has also turned to the actress’s family life. Han Go Eun’s husband, Shin Young Soo, who is four years younger than her, reportedly left his job in 2020 to care for his ill father. Since then, Shin Young Soo has occasionally appeared in videos on Han Go Eun’s YouTube channel, where the couple has shared moments from their daily life.

In one appearance, Shin Young Soo joked about his situation, saying that thanks to his wife he has been able to live without worrying about financial matters. Reports that he has remained out of work for several years have added another layer of public interest to Han Go Eun’s decision to return to acting.

With filming expected to begin soon, Han Go Eun’s upcoming daily drama is likely to mark an important step in her return to the small screen, and many viewers are looking forward to seeing Han Go Eun back in a new role.
